The biggest geek of all?

As Jackie mentioned in an earlier post, we're big fans of Freaks and Geeks. For a while I thought I was the only person who ever watched the show before it got canceled after only 18 episodes, but recently I've heard a bunch of people talking about it.

While I was watching as a kid, I had no idea who James Franco, Seth Rogen, or Jason Segel were and now they're pretty much household names.

I decided to get the DVDs of Freaks and Geeks from Netflix and since have realized there are many familiar faces other than those listed above. For those Boy Meets World fans, you'll recognize the chick who almost ruined Cory and Topanga's relationship, Lauren (Linda Cardellini), as the leading lady. And for those Dawson's Creek fans (if you toughed it out long enough), you'll recognize Joey's college roommate (Busy Philipps) as the mean chick.

Another fun fact, Jason Segel and Linda Cardellini actually dated for a while. Segel actually based the break up scene in Forgetting Sarah Marshall off of his real life break up with Cardellini. Yes, he was naked.

So, I proclaim myself the biggest geek of all for knowing all of this useless information.
